my sch is hvin a sports day on 5th april. this whole week is hvin rehersal in sch. tody, i jus fell down n bruised both my knee cap.

i nvr had such big cuts on my knee cap. when mummy bathed me, the water drip down n it was painful. :(

but smthg happy happen tody too. afternoon, playhouse disney repeats Thoams and Friends!! so i m watchin it 3x a day!! mornin 8am when i prepare for sch, malay children channel. it is dual sound, but i always wan to listen in malay. this aftn at 3.30pm, thomas replace harry and his bucket full of dinosaurs. and 9.30pm, another round of thomas!!

both me n didi r glued to the tv during these times!! dun disturb us!! shhhhhhhhhhhh

yest was the 1st day of march sch holidays!! but daddy nid to vote. so we went to singapore this mroning.

i miss waigong n waipo so much! i can always go kaikai in sg. mummy loves to bring us to libraries and shoppin malls. so many toys and children stuff in sg.

i oso misses the tricycle, i wan to bring it out whenever wai gong bring me out. so many things to look forward too...

Does your child refuse to hold still? Give him/ her plenty of outdoor outlets to expel this burst of energy.

What your child might do:
 

Physically and mentally
• Has better balance (girls usually achieve this quicker than boys)
• Has intentional ideas about what to scribble or draw
• Shapes scribbles into semblance of alphabets or even short, misspelled words
• Catches ball thrown directly at him/ her
• Rolls play dough into balls and puts them together to make shapes or people

Language and emotions
• Uses longer sentences
• Recognises and reads short words such as own name and cat, dog, etc
• Empathises with characters in stories


Sleep
Nightmares are very common at this age. And so is fear of the dark. Ease your child’s night-time anxieties by giving him/ her a nightlight, flashlight and/ or a comfort object such as a favourite toy.



Ideal toys for this age
• Intermediate-level jigsaw puzzles
• Simple board games
• Scooter and tricycle
• Early-learning computer games

At this age, a child should be allowed to choose his/ her own toys.

Useful tips
If you haven’t already, emphasise good etiquette and manners now itself. Teaching children to say “please”, “thank you” and “I am sorry” from a young age helps them grow into conscientious adults.

mummy busy taking care of us, so she had no time to update our blogs.

life was fun!! FUN FAIR type of fun! CNY = chinese new year, in Malacca, there's 2 fun fair near grandma house. ah gong brought me n didi went to the nearest, but a smaller scale. its still fun enough! i sat in the small railway train myself. (didi was scared every time we visit) nex, i will choose Thomas & friends ride. last is the blow-up castle - jump jump jump!

jus now, mummy & 2nd gugu followed ah gong and us to fun fair. they witness how familiar i was wif the themed park. hehehe

mummy brought didi into the castle too. at 1st, he is scared, den mummy showed him he can crawled arnd, n falling down din hurt a bit. so after much encouragement and company from mummy, didi is playing happily in the castle too. den the uncle came as mummy is sittin near the entrance, "adult cannot go in" (but mummy saw another adult inside earlier.. >_>)
